Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of app.forewrite.com (the "Service"), operated by Forewrite Technologies, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India ("Forewrite", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Your account

Keep your login details secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at care@forewrite.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. The Service

Forewrite gives you access to AI writing tools, templates and AI chat powered by several AI models from third-party providers. It also offers optional features such as document chat, connected accounts and shareable chat links. We may add, change or remove features and AI models over time.

4. Free and guest use

We may offer limited free or guest access, for example a daily message limit without an account. We can change or end free access at any time.

5. Plans, credits and payment

  • Paid plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. The credits included in your plan are shown in your account.
  • Payments are processed by our payment partner (such as Gumroad), which acts as the merchant of record and may add applicable taxes.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Credits are for use within their billing period, as shown in your account. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your renewal.

6. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 7 days of a payment, we refund 100% of that payment, no questions asked. For the Forewrite Bundle, this applies until we start building your website. Refunds are paid through the payment partner to your original payment method. Full details are in our Refund Policy. This does not affect any refund rights you have under applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • create or spread content that is sexually exploitative of minors, violent extremism, harassment, hate, or content that promotes self-harm;
  • produce spam, malware, phishing, scams, or misleading content meant to deceive people (such as fake reviews or impersonation);
  • get around usage limits, share or resell your account, or access the Service through automated means we have not allowed;
  • attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • break the usage policies of the AI providers behind the Service.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Your content and AI output

  • You keep ownership of what you submit. You also own the output generated for you, to the extent the law and the AI providers' terms allow.
  • You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only to operate the Service for you, including sending it to AI providers to answer your requests.
  • AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to output given to others. Check it before relying on it. It is not professional (legal, medical, financial or other) advice. You are responsible for how you use it.

9. Connected accounts and third-party services

If you connect Google, Microsoft or Notion accounts, their terms also apply. You authorise us to access that data read-only and only to answer your requests. You can disconnect at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Shared chats

If you create a share link, anyone who has the link can view that conversation. Do not share chats that contain private or sensitive information. Delete the chat to stop sharing it.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and the Forewrite name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them apart from using the Service.

12. Availability

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Maintenance, updates or issues at our AI and hosting providers may cause interruptions.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. If we end the Service without cause, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

14. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Forewrite is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims arising from your content or from your breach of these Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and give notice of important changes by email or in the app. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them.
