These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Forewrite website and its free online tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Forewrite offers a collection of free, browser-based utilities. Many tools run entirely in your browser; some send the input you provide to our server to return a result (see our Privacy Policy). The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• process content you do not own or have permission to use — for example, only remove a password from, edit, or redact a document you are authorized to access;

Your content

You keep all rights to the files and inputs you use with the Service. For tools that run in your browser, we never receive your files. For tools that use our server, your input is processed only to produce your result and is not stored by us. You are solely responsible for the content you process and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the tools will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. Always review important output before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forewrite and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, your use of it is at your own risk.

Third-party services and links

Some tools rely on third-party services to function, and the Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Intellectual property

The Forewrite name, branding, website, and the tools themselves belong to Forewrite. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the tools as intended. Output you create with the tools from your own input is yours to use.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
